Highland Area Partnership, Inc., announces the fourth annual Highland Jazz & Blues Festival to be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, at Columbia Park, from Noon until 6 p.m. The festival will feature eleven bands on two stages, plus art and crafts booths and a variety of local and international food and drink offerings. Admission is free.Lee Marvin Adams will act as master of ceremonies again this year. Food offerings will include barbecue, pizza, Cajun, Caribbean, and Indian.
This year’s festival is funded in part by the City of Shreveport, Shreveport Regional Arts Council, and the Shreveport Convention & Tourist Bureau, plus special sponsors and friends of Highland Area Partnership.
As in the past, festival attendees are invited to bring camp chairs and blankets if desired and to enjoy an afternoon of music and arts and crafts at Columbia Park.
